Questions

What is a content inventory?

A list of every page on a site with the facts you need to manage it: URL, title, description, main heading, length and last update. It’s the starting point for a content audit, a redesign or a migration.

Do you check every page?

We read up to 2,000 URLs from your sitemaps, then check a sample of about 35 pages spread across every section. The result says exactly how many we checked. It’s enough to spot problems that repeat across the site.

Why is a noindex page in my sitemap a problem?

Your sitemap asks search engines to index the page, while the page asks them not to. Google ignores the sitemap entry and may trust your sitemap less. List only pages you want in search.

What does Export CSV include?

One row per page checked: URL, section, status, redirect target, title and description with their lengths, H1, canonical, robots, word count, last modified date and issues. It opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
