Questions
How do you decide who’s ahead?
Only where better is clear: a title of 30 to 60 characters, a description of 70 to 160, one H1, more schema types, or a server that answers over 100 ms and 20% faster. Word count, links and HTML size are shown but not scored.
Is a longer page better?
Not by itself. Use the word count and the terms only they use to spot questions your page doesn’t answer, then cover the ones your readers care about.
Why is the response time different from a speed test?
We time one request to each page from our server, at the same moment. It shows how fast each server answers, not the full page load. Run a full audit for Core Web Vitals.
Can I compare two pages on my own site?
Yes. Enter any two public pages, for example two posts competing for the same keyword.
